Nina Eagin has a long history of work experience. Nina began their career in 2008 as a Teacher at Cityview Performing Arts Magnet School, where they developed and revised curriculum to address students' academic and social needs, created curriculum meeting the diverse needs of students, and integrated technology into all aspects of classroom teaching. In 2009, they worked as a Summer Youth Corps Coordinator for Conservation Corps Minnesota and Iowa, where they recruited, hired, and managed AmeriCorps members and youth, connected with youth organizations and schools to increase program awareness, and managed a residential facility and oversaw safety of all participants. Later that same year, they worked as a Crew Leader for Conservation Corps Minnesota and Iowa, where they mentored youth in job skills, personal development, and intercultural understanding, improved trails and parks through manual labor work with youth crews, and ensured clear communication between project sponsors, crew, and head staff. In 2013, they worked as an Executive Assistant and Research Assistant at Amherst H. Wilder Foundation, where they assisted the Executive Director of Wilder Research in carrying out their responsibilities through a variety of support functions including planning, research, and special project support to ensure quality, well-run and cost effective services. Finally, in 2017, they began working at Minnesota IT Services as a Program Support Specialist and Project Manager. In 2022, they began working as a Manager at Institute for Community Alliances.
Nina Eagin began their educational journey in 2003 when they attended Purdue University, though no degree or field of study was listed. Nina then moved on to North Central University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with Social Studies Concentration and Sign Language Professional Interpreting in 2008. In 2017, they completed a Continuing Education Certificate in Project Management from the University of Minnesota.
