Stoop Nilsson

Stoop Nilsson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in educational equity and community organizing. Currently serving as the Director at ICL since January 2020, Stoop previously worked as an Equity Trainer and Consultant at the Center for Racial Justice in Education from July 2018 to September 2022. Stoop also founded RW-B Techniques L.L.C. and held the position of Lead Strategist from April 2019 to February 2021. Previous roles include Educational Equity Consultant at New York University, Field Director and Organizing Consultant at Hilltop Public Solutions, and Community Organizer and Trainer at The People's Institute for Survival and Beyond. Stoop holds a Master of Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Concordia University, a Certificate in Psychiatric Technology from Cuesta College, and a CELTA certificate from the University of Cambridge.
