Vidar Brundtland Steder

Vidar Brundtland Steder has a range of experience in communications and media roles. Vidar Brundtland is currently working as the Head of Communications at the Institute for Energy Technology since 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at VID vitenskapelige høgskole from 2012 to 2022. Vidar Brundtland'sprevious roles include serving as the TV and Media Manager and Director for Equus Informasjon og Media AS at Norsk Rikstoto from 2009 to 2012, and as the Interactive Services Manager at Scandinavia Online AS from 2006 to 2009. Vidar also worked at Storebrand as the Internet Marketing Manager from 2001 to 2006, and at The Utilities Exchange as a Marketing Coordinator from 2000 to 2001. Vidar Brundtland gained experience as a PR and Communications Assistant at USDA Forest Service in 1999, and as a Reporter and Project Coordinator at KUER Public Radio in 1998.

Vidar Brundtland Steder completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Utah from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1993, Steder pursued studies in Broadcast Journalism at Brigham Young University. Steder then went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Utah from 1996 to 1998.
