Sanoe Marfil

Sanoe Marfil, CNP is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Sanoe began their career at the Hawai'i Department of Education in 2003, where they worked as an Account Clerk until 2006. In 2006, they joined the Institute for Native Pacific Education and Culture (INPEACE) as a Program Associate Manager/Program Director, a role they held until 2019. In February 2019, they were promoted to Chief Program Officer at INPEACE, a position they currently hold. Throughout their career, Sanoe has demonstrated their ability to excel in various roles and contribute to the success of the organizations they work for.

Sanoe Marfil, CNP has a diverse education history. Sanoe obtained a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Leadership from Fielding Graduate University between 2023 and 2027. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Hawaiian Studies from the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 2012 to 2015. Sanoe also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Hawaiian Pacific Studies from the University of Hawaii-West Oahu, which they received from 2008 to 2011. Their primary education was completed at Nānākuli High School, where they earned a diploma between 1996 and 1999. In addition to their degrees, they have received certifications such as Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) and a Workforce Trends and Leadership e-Certificate from the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance. Sanoe also holds other certifications, including Innovation Engineering Blue Belt from Eureka! Ranch and Resident Centered Community Planning from Concordia Design.
