Kris Vedat

Kris Vedat is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in information technology and logistics. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at SmartSea since January 2025, Kris previously held key roles at P&O Maritime Logistics, including Head of Technology and Logistics and Head of Information Technology from September 2019 to February 2025. Prior to that, Kris was the Head of Information Technology at Topaz Energy and Marine from September 2015 to September 2019. Initial career progression included significant roles at United Arab Shipping Company (S.A.G.) from May 2006 to September 2015, such as Head of Service Level Management and Regional IT Manager, where responsibilities encompassed global service desk management and IT infrastructure development. Kris began the career as a Network Administrator at United Arab Shipping Company from September 2001 to April 2006. Education was completed at Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School.
