Juliana Thornton

Juliana spearheads the Center for Collaborative Investigative Journalism’s development efforts. She coordinates fundraising and development for the Department of Journalism at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg and its associated projects and events. She has 15 years experience in civil society, fundraising and development, and has held management, research and M&E and fundraising positions with various organizations working toward human rights and development in South Africa.
