Farhad Saeidi

Farhad Saeidi is a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM) since November 2018, contributing to the conceptual design of the Future Circular Collider sextupole magnet and the physical design of a specific Helmholtz Coil for the ISOLDE project at CERN. Additionally, Farhad serves as the Head of the Magnet and Insertion Devices Group at the Iranian Light Source Facility, overseeing the design of electromagnets, pulsed magnets, and insertion devices, while also developing the ILSF Magnet Measurement Lab. Previous roles include being a member of both the Magnet Group and Beam Dynamics Group at ILSF, focusing on magnetic and mechanical design and lattice optimization. Farhad's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Isfahan, a Master's degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from K. N. Toosi University of Technology, and a Ph.D. in Applied Physics/Accelerator from Arak University. Farhad also has experience in academia as a Teaching Professional at Islamic Azad University.
