Khatereh Azizi

Khatereh Azizi is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM) since October 2023, holding a grant from the Iranian Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology. Prior to this position, Khatereh served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) from October 2019 to September 2023 and as a Research Associate at Howard University in the Quantum Biology Laboratory from October 2019 to July 2020. Khatereh completed a PhD in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics at the University of Tehran, where the academic journey included roles as a Teacher Assistant and a Student Researcher at IPM. Khatereh also gained international experience as a visiting PhD student at Aalto University School of Science and Technology in 2016. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science, both in Physics, from the University of Tehran.
