Erik Stohlmann

Erik Stohlmann currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Institute for Security Governance, where responsibilities include planning and executing educational activities for international partners in collaboration with the United States Department of Defense and the Department of State. Previous roles include Deputy Director and Director of Programs at the Center for Civil Military Relations, as well as Project Manager at Huntington Ingalls Industries, where Erik led teams in designing and executing education programs for the US Navy and international partners. Additionally, Erik held various positions at the Naval Postgraduate School, including Military Associate Dean of the School of International Graduate Studies, and served as Foreign Area Officer Community Manager and Deputy Chief for European Policy at EUCOM. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in European and Eurasian Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School, a Master's in Security Studies from Escuela Superior de las Fuerzas Armadas, and a Bachelor's in Political Science and German from the United States Naval Academy.
