Institute for the Future
Douglas Solomon is a Senior Fellow at the Institute for the Future since July 2018, and serves as an Advisory Board Member at Sherpa, a leading AI and federated learning platform company. Solomon has held advisory roles at Atlas of Caregiving, focusing on caregiver support, and Impossible Labs, which aims to expedite the post-hydrocarbon economy. As Chief Design Thinker at ResearchWorks since July 2013, Solomon has contributed to innovation across various sectors. Previous experience includes advisory positions with EpiBiome and WellnessMate, Inc. Solomon has also been involved in education as an Instructor at the Alberta School of Business and Associate Faculty at Johns Hopkins Medicine. With a Ph.D. in Communication Research from Stanford University, an MPH from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and a BA from Michigan State University, Solomon has a robust academic background in health communications and marketing.
