Katherine Haynes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health equity, strategy, and innovation. Currently serving as a Senior Program Officer at the California Health Care Foundation, Katherine leads efforts to advance Black health equity in California. With a background as a Senior Consultant at Thought Provoker and an Instructor and former Director of the Health Futures Lab at the Institute for the Future, Katherine has played pivotal roles in philanthropy and health care innovation. Previous leadership positions include Executive Director roles at Kaiser Permanente, where Katherine focused on equitable care and diversity, and Interim Program Director at Blue Shield of California Foundation. Katherine holds a BA in Humanities from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA in Marketing & Arts Management from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
