Teffera G. Teffera is a seasoned digital media professional currently serving as the Digital Experiences Manager at the Institute for the Future since May 2021, where responsibilities include enhancing public-facing digital platforms and producing multimedia content. Previously, Teffera held various roles at Voice of America from February 2012 to January 2020, including Digital Managing Editor for French to Africa, where oversight of news coverage was key, and Multimedia Producer roles that involved planning and producing content for diverse audiences across multiple platforms. Additionally, Teffera worked as a Digital Media Analyst at the United States Agency for Global Media, focusing on digital media trends and measurements in Africa. Teffera is the founder and creative director of Yohannes Aramde, an Ethiopian-American lifestyle brand. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Applied Cybernetics from The Australian National University and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and International Relations from Syracuse University.
