Institute for Urban Indigenous Health
Shea Spierings is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Director of the Knowledge and Research Centre at the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health since June 2025. Additionally, Shea holds multiple leadership roles within CCQ - Country to Coast QLD, including Chair, Deputy Chair, and Non-Executive Director, contributing to key Subcommittees such as Finance, Audit and Risk, and Governance, Nominations and Remuneration. In the health sector, Shea is a Board Member of Metro North Health and Health and Wellbeing Queensland and actively participates in the Quality and Safety and First Nations Health Equity Subcommittees. With past experience as a Research Fellow at The University of Queensland and various advisory roles, Shea has a strong background in community health and policy.
