Nicolas Raffin

Managing Curator, Cinema at Institute of Contemporary Arts

Nicolas Raffin is a seasoned professional in film programming and curation, currently serving as the Managing Curator for Cinema at the Institute of Contemporary Arts since March 2018. Raffin's extensive experience includes roles such as Film Programme Manager and Festival Coordinator. As an independent film programmer since January 2017, Raffin has contributed to various film festivals across Europe, including the London Kurdish Film Festival and Korean Film Nights at the Korean Cultural Centre UK. Additionally, Raffin served on the Youth Advisory Board for the Locarno Film Festival and was involved in curating the "Are the kids alright?" event. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Film Studies from the National Film & Television School and a Bachelor’s degree in International/Global Studies from Leiden University.
