Jasper Schellekens

Jasper Schellekens is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in outreach, communications, and project management within the fields of digital games, academic research, and international affairs. Currently serving as Outreach and Communications Manager at the Institute of Digital Games - University of Malta since May 2024, Jasper also occupies the role of Communications Advisor at T.M.C. Asser Instituut. Previous positions include Director at Bright Star Studios in Malta and Editorial Assistant for IEEE Transactions on Games, where Jasper significantly enhanced the journal's impact. Earlier experience encompasses research support at the University of Malta, co-founding the Internet Society Malta Chapter, and various roles in project management and administration. Jasper holds an LLM in Public International Law from Leiden University and a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs and Politics from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
