Zama Ngcobo

Zama Ngcobo is an experienced professional with a diverse background in governance and advisory roles. Currently serving as a member of the Institute of Directors in Southern Africa since May 2013, Zama has also been an assessor and facilitator at The Water Academy since 2009. Additional roles include membership on the Audit and Performance Committee of Mkhambathini Local Municipality and the Audit Committee of Big 5 Municipality. Zama holds the position of Chairperson for the District Growth Development Planning Commission at Mkhanyakude District Municipality and is the Managing Director of Igunya Consulting since 2012. Previous experience includes serving as a board member for the Agribusiness Development Agency and mjindifarming (PTY) LTD, as well as chairing the Audit and Performance Audit Committee for Jozini Local Municipality. Zama obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal between 1997 and 1999.
