Denise Rivers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in member engagement and sales/marketing. Currently serving as Manager of Member and Section Engagement at the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) since October 2022, Denise previously held the position of Sales/Marketing Senior Solutions Advisor at Independence Village of Rockford and Naperville from December 2020 to October 2022. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Chapter Relations at the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), Manager of Chapter Relations at the Coin Laundry Association, and Membership Recruitment and Retention Manager at the Illinois Landscape Contractors Association. Denise earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from Virginia State University, where studies were completed from August 1984 to May 1988.
