Hannu Seebeck

Hannu Seebeck is a Structural Geologist in the Earth Structure and Processes department. Hannu’s recent work and research interests cover a wide range of scales which include fault zone architecture and three-dimensional modelling, earthquake hazard, basin development, subduction zone processes and tectonic plate reconstructions. After completing degrees in Geology at Victoria University of Wellington (BSc, MSc) and the University of Canterbury (PhD), Hannu has worked across a range of disciplines within GNS Science including Earthquake Geology, Petroleum Geosciences and Crustal Geophysics.
