Bence Gyorgy is an experienced professional in the field of ophthalmology and molecular genetics, currently serving as the Head of Clinical Translation at the Institute of Molecular and Clinical Ophthalmology Basel since January 2019. Bence previously held post-doctoral fellow positions at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School from July 2013 to June 2018, focusing on gene therapy and neurobiology. Bence also worked as an ophthalmologist at Semmelweis University, Department of Ophthalmology from September 2010 to April 2013. Bence received an MD in Medicine and a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from Semmelweis University and completed multiple postdoctoral fellowships at Harvard Medical School.
