John Hogan

John Hogan is a Partner and Patent and Design Attorney at FB Rice, specializing in various sectors including mining, alternative energy, and medical devices. With extensive experience in patent law since 2001, John previously served as a Senior Associate at Spruson & Ferguson and held an in-house position at GCC Pty Ltd. John also contributes to the field as a Senior Associate for the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia and as a member of the Designs Committee at the Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand. Previous military service included a role as a Lieutenant in the Australian Army. John holds a Master of Industrial Property from the University of Technology Sydney, a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from UNSW, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Sydney.
