Erica Hare

Erica Hare is currently the CFO at The Institute of Professional Practice. Prior to their current position, they served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Vermont College of Fine Arts from August 2009 to May 2019. In this role, they were responsible for the overall financial and administrative operations of the College, including alumni affairs, development, accounting, budgeting, investments and banking relations, tax and regulatory filings, human resources and employee benefits, year-end audit and financial information systems. Erica also led New Markets Tax Credit financing for the College. Additionally, they served as Treasurer of the College and staffed Finance + Audit Committee of the Board.

Before their time at Vermont College of Fine Arts, Erica was the Department Administrator at Columbia University Medical Center from January 2006 to December 2009. In this role, they were responsible for the planning and organization of the Department's financial affairs and administration.

Prior to their time at Columbia University Medical Center, Erica served as the Service Line Administrator at NYU Langone Medical Center from January 2004 to December 2006.

Erica Hare has an MBA in Economics and Management from the NYU Stern School of Business, as well as a BA in Economics and American Studies from Mount Holyoke College.

Erica Hare reports to Lou Giramma, CEO. They work with Steve Schultz - Chief People Officer, Lisa Lauretano - Chief of Program Operations, and Judy Stermer - Chief Advancement Officer.
