Mitu Rani Das

Mitu Rani Das is a skilled professional in the field of Water Resources Engineering, currently serving as a Junior Engineer at the Institute of Water Modelling since February 2024. Prior to this, Mitu held the position of Research Assistant at the Institute of Water and Flood Management, contributing to the Academic Alliance on Anticipatory Action (4A), a global consortium led by Tufts University with support from USAID. Mitu also held leadership roles at BUET Career Club from June 2018 to May 2022, including Vice President and Secretary of Office and Finance. Additional experience includes an internship at the Center for Environmental and Geographic Information Services (CEGIS) in October 2021. Mitu Rani Das holds a Master of Science in Water Resources Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, anticipated in November 2024, and a Bachelor of Science in the same field, completed in May 2022. Preceding this academic journey was the attainment of a Higher Secondary Certificate from Barishal Government Women's College in July 2016.
