Laurie Panian

Laurie Panian, SPHR has extensive work experience in various HR roles. Laurie currently holds the position of Chief People Officer at the Institute on Aging since October 2021. Prior to this, Laurie served as the Associate Vice President / Chief Human Resources Officer at Saint Mary's College of California from September 2018 to October 2021. Before that, they worked as a Human Capital Manager at PwC from July 2016 to September 2018. Laurie also gained experience as a Human Resources Director at Superior National Bank & Trust from April 2014 to July 2016. Laurie served as the Associate Director of HR Business Operations at Michigan Technological University from September 2010 to April 2014. Laurie started their career as an Associate/Consultant at Right Management from November 2007 to June 2010 and continued their journey as an HR Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1991 to 2007.

Laurie Panian, SPHR holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Golden Gate University. Laurie obtained their SPHR certification from HRCI in 2013, as well as the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute in the same year.
