Michael Mason has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Michael currently holds the position of Director, Clinical Services at the Institute on Aging since January 2020. Prior to that, from December 2017 to January 2020, they worked as a Regional Manager at LAGS Medical Centers, where they managed musculoskeletal and addiction medicine services. From August 2016 to December 2017, they served as the Center Director at the Center for Elders' Independence. Michael also has military experience, having served in the US Army from 2005 to 2016. During their tenure, they held various positions including Practice Manager, First Sergeant, Group Manager, and Platoon Sergeant, assuming responsibilities in medical care, personnel management, leadership, and recruitment.
Michael Mason earned a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Liberty University in 2018-2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Ashford University in 2014-2016. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained certifications in Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (November 2015), California Emergency Medical Technician (March 2015), Basic Life Support (January 2014), and Emergency Medical Technician (March 2002).
