Dan C. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in software engineering and management, currently serving as Director of Software Engineering at IVP since 2020, where internal tools for a venture capital firm are developed using Ruby and Postgres. Prior to this role, Dan worked as a Software Engineer at fintech startups, including Pogo Financial and Interstellar, utilizing technologies such as React Native, TypeScript, and Go. Dan's career began at Chain, a fintech startup, and included a decade-long tenure at thoughtbot, initially as a Software Developer before advancing to Chief Marketing Officer, where leadership and team management were key responsibilities. Dan holds a BA from the College of the Holy Cross and is a graduate of Noble and Greenough School.
