Joyce Alves Voltolini

Joyce Alves Voltolini is currently a graduate student (Mestranda) specializing in bacterial genetics at Instituto Butantan since July 2023. Prior experience includes a scientific initiation scholarship focusing on bacterial genetics and an internship role as a research assistant in field monitoring for fauna at ARCHOS Consultoria Ambiental Ltda. in August 2024. Joyce has also interned in the Zoonoses Division at the São Paulo Municipal Health Secretary, engaging in molecular biology and parasitology. Previous positions include an internship at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo and an assistant role at Catland Adoção de Gatinhos. Joyce holds a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine from Universidade São Judas Tadeu and is pursuing a Master's degree in Biotechnology at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences - University of São Paulo.
