Marielly Rocha

Marielly Rocha is an accomplished individual with extensive experience in scientific research and leadership within various organizations. Currently serving as a Scientific Initiation researcher at Instituto Butantan since September 2022, Marielly also founded and presides over the Girl Up Rosalind Franklin Club associated with the United Nations Foundation. Previous roles include project advisor at ICBjr, founder and director of Ciência & Elas, and intern at the Laboratory of Neuroimmune Interactions at the University of São Paulo, focusing on immunomodulatory roles of stem cell-derived microvesicles. Marielly's academic journey includes pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Basic Health Sciences at USP, a Bachelor's degree in Biomedicine at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, and a Technical degree in Pharmacy from ETEC.
