Victor Gomez MD, FATS is a seasoned thoracic surgeon with extensive experience in pediatric surgery and organ transplantation. Currently serving as a Thoracic Surgeon at Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño San Borja since February 2015 and at Instituto Neurocardiovascular de las Américas since August 2015, Victor is also the Executive Director of the Diagnostic and Treatment Support Unit and Coordinator of Experimental Surgery at the same institution. Involved in lung transplantation as a member of the Committee of Solid Organ and Tissue Transplantation, Victor has a rich background as a primary surgeon and General Manager of Clínica del Sudor, along with significant roles in other medical institutions. Academic credentials include a Titulo Profesional in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and further specialized training from esteemed institutions such as Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
