Juan Joel Casilla Castillo

Juan Joel Casilla Castillo is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as a Senior Engineer of RF Spectrum Management at INDOTEL since January 2021, focusing on the surveillance and control of the Dominican Republic's radioelectrical spectrum. In addition to their engineering role, Juan Joel has been an Adjunct Professor at Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo since November 2017, teaching courses related to radio frequency signal transmission and telecommunications systems. Previously, from August 2011 to January 2021, Juan Joel held multiple positions at Huawei, including Regional Quality Assurance Manager and Transmission Engineer, overseeing quality standards and leading transmission solutions in the Caribbean region. Earlier in their career, Juan Joel worked at Wind Telecom S.A. as a Network Planning Engineer and Transmission Junior Engineer, where Juan Joel managed the design and implementation of various telecommunications solutions. Juan Joel holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo.
