Michiel van Den Bosch

Michiel van den Bosch is a medical physicist currently working at Instituut Verbeeten since August 2018, with prior experience at MAASTRO clinic from September 2015 to July 2018 and at Catharina Hospital Eindhoven as a medical physicist trainee in radiotherapy from September 2011 to August 2015. Michiel's academic background includes a PhD in Radiation Oncology Physics from Universiteit Utrecht (2006-2011) and a Master's degree in (Bio)Medical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology (1999-2006). In addition, Michiel's research experience as a post-doctoral researcher at University Medical Center Utrecht encompassed the MRI-accelerator project, focused on the influence of a 1.5T magnetic field on dose distributions in patients, alongside the development of an MRI-guided robotic system for transperineal prostate interventions during the Ph.D. program.
