Daniel Hernandez

Daniel Hernandez, Ph.D., DABR, is a skilled medical physicist currently serving as a Senior Medical Physicist at Varian since November 2023 and as the Founder of Mountain West Medical Physics, LLC since March 2023. Previously, Daniel worked as a Medical Physicist at St. Luke's Health System from September 2020 to November 2023 and held a position as Adjunct Faculty at Boise State University from August 2021 to July 2023. Daniel completed a Medical Physics Residency at UC Davis Health from July 2018 to June 2020 and earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California, Davis, between 2012 and 2018. Additional qualifications include a Medical Physics CAMPEP Certificate from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
