Jessica Roberts

Jessica Roberts has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Jessica started their career in education as a Teacher at Houston ISD in 2005 and then moved to Spring Branch ISD as a Teacher from 2006 to 2010. Jessica then transitioned to the University of Houston Alumni Association, where they served as the Director of Business Operations from 2010 to 2011 and later became the Vice President of Finance and Administration from 2011 to 2012. Jessica then joined YES Prep Public Schools, where they held roles such as Controller from 2012 to 2014, Senior Director from 2014 to 2016, and Managing Director - Finance and Accounting from 2016 to 2017. After that, they worked as the Executive Director at Luminary Learning Network from 2016 to 2019. Currently, they are working at Instruction Partners, starting as the Managing Director of Finance and Administration from 2019 to 2020, then as the Senior Managing Director of Finance, Planning & Administration from 2020 to 2021, and currently holding the position of Chief of Finance & Strategy from June 2021 onwards.

Jessica Roberts completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance at Texas A&M University from 2000 to 2004. Jessica then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance at the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business from 2007 to 2010.
