Kate Schulz is currently the Senior Director of State Partnerships at Instruction Partners, a position held since November 2020. Previously, Kate worked at the Rhode Island Department of Education from June 2009 to November 2020, where roles included Instructional Improvement Specialist and Curriculum Resource Specialist, leading significant projects such as the Rhode Island Instructional Support System and managing multi-million dollar federal and state grants. Earlier in their career, Kate was a teacher at Southern Aroostook Community School and West Allis West Milwaukee School District, where Kate developed alternative education programs and standards-based curricula. Kate holds a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix, a graduate certificate in alternative education from Concordia University-Wisconsin, and a Bachelor's degree in biology and education from Lawrence University.
