Instructional Empowerment
Deana Senn has extensive experience in education and instructional development, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Instructional Empowerment Model of Instruction since July 2022. Prior to this role, Deana worked at Learning Sciences International for over a decade, holding positions including Senior Director of Academic Teaming and Senior Content Developer, where the focus was on developing teacher tools and training. Deana's career also includes working as an Education Consultant, Curriculum Specialist for Austin Independent School District, and Curriculum Coordinator for Learning Network, emphasizing professional development and instructional coaching. Deana began as a Science Teacher at both Grand Centre High School and Rosamond High School. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Science Education from Montana State University-Bozeman, an Education Certification from Chapman University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Texas A&M University.
