Monica Casanova is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data privacy, operations management, and product development. Currently serving as Global Privacy Operations Manager at Instructure since November 2021, Monica previously held the position of Data Privacy & Compliance Program Manager at the Graduate Management Admission Council™ (GMAC™), where responsibilities included managing global data privacy compliance and enhancing the organization's privacy program. Monica's career at GMAC™ spanned over a decade, with roles ranging from Product Manager to GMAT Program Administrator, demonstrating a strong background in project management and operational support. Monica began their career in the accounting and customer service sectors, with early positions at Acsys and Mid-Atlantic Coca-Cola, after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Government & International Politics from George Mason University.
