Ed Carey has a strong background in quality and compliance roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Ed most recently served as VP & Global Head of Quality & Compliance at Insud Pharma, where they oversaw global operations and played a key role in enhancing product quality and compliance. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Global Quality & Compliance at Apotex Pharmachem Inc., where they led quality assurance and control programs across API manufacturing sites and worked to improve overall quality standards. Ed's earlier experience includes roles at Apotex Inc. and Biovail Corporation, where they focused on defining and supporting quality practices and systems. Ed began their career as a Compliance Associate at Torpharm.

Ed Carey has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Western University. Ed also holds a diploma in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance from the Toronto Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology.
