Francesc Basacoma

Francesc Basacoma has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries. Francesc is currently serving as the International Pharma Operations Director at Insud Pharma, overseeing operations across multiple sites in Spain, India, Turkey, Indonesia, and Guatemala. Prior to this, they held the role of Chief Operating Officer at Towa Pharma International Holdings, a leading generics company in Japan. Francesc also served as the Head of Global Operations for Esteve Pharma Generics Division, where they managed manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and engineering. Additionally, Basacoma worked at Procter & Gamble in various roles, including Global Manufacturing Platform Leader and Operations Manager. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in operations, supply chain management, and innovation.

Francesc Basacoma's education history includes an Executive Master in Business Administration from Esade in 2008-2009. In the same year, they also attended the Strategy Module at HEC Paris as part of their Executive Education. In 2009, they completed a Program in Leadership Development at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and also attended an Executive Education program on Competitive Strategy at Henley Business School. Prior to that, they earned a High Degree in Industrial Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 1992-1997. Francesc Basacoma also obtained a Runner's profile certification from the International Trail Running Association.
