Donald Hickel

Donald Hickel is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in plastic injection molding and tooling. Currently serving as Principal Tooling Engineer at Insulet Corporation since September 2023, Donald has previously held significant roles including Manager of Project Management and Molds at Manner USA, where responsibilities included high precision, large-volume production. Donald's expertise extends to developing emerging injection molding technologies for new markets, as demonstrated during roles at Visron Design and Ortho Clinical Diagnostics. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Greatbatch Medical, overseeing various engineering functions and managing a substantial value stream of medical components. Donald's foundational career began at Accede Mold and Tool, ultimately advancing to Vice President Engineering, and possesses a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Technology with a focus on Plastics from Buffalo State University.
