Oliver Xie is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology leader with significant experience in the blockchain and DeFi sectors. As the Founder and CEO of InsurAce Protocol since October 2020, Oliver Xie has developed a leading multi-chain DeFi insurance platform that prioritizes reliability and user-friendly services for crypto users. In addition to this role, Oliver Xie serves as Founder of Metarisk, established in October 2022, focusing on technology and risk financing solutions for Emerging Risks. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Technology Officer at APEX - Asia Pacific Exchange from April 2016 to October 2020, where Oliver Xie was instrumental in building technology for a regulated exchange and clearing house in Singapore, as well as leading research on digital assets and blockchain technology.
