Ángel Figueroa

Ángel Figueroa is an experienced professional with a diverse background in support, recovery, and environmental conservation. Currently serving as a Senior Support and Recovery Specialist at the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia since March 2018, Ángel focuses on helping injured individuals regain their physical functions. Previously, Ángel held various positions at Ridge to Reefs, overseeing operations in the Pacific Islands as Pacific Project Coordinator, and at the USDA-NRCS, where roles included Senior Manager and Pacific Islands Area Director, leading initiatives in environmental protection and conservation practices. Ángel has also contributed as a Third Degree Knight Volunteer with the Knights of Columbus, emphasizing community service. An alumnus of American University and Universidad de Puerto Rico, Ángel holds an Executive Leadership Certificate and a degree in Agronomy and Soils, accompanied by linguistic training in Russian and Spanish from the U.S. Defense Language Institute.
