Howard Chang

Howard Chang is an experienced professional in risk management and internal audit, currently serving as the Director of Risk and Internal Audit at the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia since November 2023. Previously, Howard held the position of Director of Assessments and Senior Audit Manager at WorkSafeBC from March 2014 to November 2023. Howard's extensive career at the Canada Revenue Agency spanned from September 1993 to March 2014, where roles included Audit Section Manager, Regional Internal Audit Manager, Team Leader for both Appeals and Audit, Budget Analyst, and Tax Auditor. Howard began the professional journey as a CA Articling Student at Peat Marwick Thorne in 1993. Howard holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems from The University of British Columbia, earned between 1989 and 1993.
