Sean Kevelighan

Sean Kevelighan's work experience includes serving as the Chief Executive Officer at the Insurance Information Institute since 2016. Prior to that, they were the Global Head of Public Affairs & Corporate Social Responsibility at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd from 2015 to 2016. Sean also worked at Zurich North America as the SVP, Head of Government and Industry Affairs, North America from 2013 to 2015. Before their time at Zurich, Sean was the Head of Global Consumer Banking Public Affairs at Citi from 2011 to 2013. Sean also held various roles at Zurich North America, The White House, U.S. Department of the Treasury, Hill & Knowlton, U.S. House of Representatives, and Gryphon Networks.

Sean Kevelighan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they studied from 1993 to 1998. In addition to their undergraduate education, they have obtained certifications in Finance for Senior Executives from Harvard Business School Executive Education in February 2022, and in Business Essentials for Executives from Wharton Executive Education in November 2019.
