Carolina Saavedra

Carolina Saavedra is a software engineer with experience in various industries. Carolina currently works as a Software Engineer at Insurely, a company they joined in 2022. Previously, Carolina worked at Hiotlabs, a startup IoT company, where they developed innovative solutions using IoT and machine learning to redefine the insurance industry. Carolina also worked as a Backend Developer at Record Union, a SaaS company that provides a music platform for artists to distribute their music globally. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Avida Finans AB, where they developed the company's ledger system for credit ratings and invoicing. Carolina began their career as a Risk Analyst at Riksgälden, the Swedish National Debt Office, where they monitored risks and performed analyses on government debt.

Carolina Saavedra's education history began in 2002 when they attended Mälardalen University. Carolina pursued a degree in Business and Economics, which they completed in 2004. Following that, in 2005 and 2006, they studied at Universidad Complutense de Madrid in the field of Business and Economics. Carolina then went on to attend Stockholm University from 2004 to 2007 and obtained their Master of Science in Business and Economics.

Later, in 2017, they attended Academic Work Academy Sweden, where they focused on Systemutveckling (System Development) and obtained a degree in C#.NET.

In terms of additional certifications, Carolina Saavedra acquired the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certificate from Scrum.org in April 2017.
