Yoon Hwang

Yoon Hwang is the VP of Project Mechanical & Fire Protection Engineer at Insynergy Engineering. Yoon has over 15 years of experience in the engineering field. Yoon started their career as a Project Engineer at Cedric Chong and Associates in January 2004. There, they developed construction documents for mechanical and fire protection disciplines outlining HVAC, mechanical cooling, fire alarm, mass notification system, fire sprinkler, and cooling plant designs. In December 2007, they left Cedric Chong and Associates to join Insynergy Engineering as the VP of Project Mechanical & Fire Protection Engineer. There, they have implemented cooling load calculation for HVAC system concept design, equipment sizing, and LEED analysis and documentation.

Yoon Hwang graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University. Afterwards, they obtained certification from the California Board of Professional Engineers in both Fire Protection and Mechanical PE.

They are on a team with Cameron Grant - Mechanical Team Leader, Diamond Head Team, Project Mechanical Engineer, Raymond Cheng - Mechanical Team Leader, Guam Office, Project Mechanical & Fire Protection Engineer, and Deron Jyo - Mechanical Team Leader, Diamond Head Team, Project Mechanical Engineer. Their manager is Barry Jim On, SVP, Project Mechanical & Fire Protection Engineer.
