Misty then worked at Nitetours as a Nightclub Host/Social Media Marketing Coordinator, utilizing customer record systems and formulating innovative ways to market. Misty then joined Dr Pepper Snapple Group as a Sales/Marketing/Product Specialist, where they researched market trends, negotiated transactions, and built relationships with accounts and area representatives. Their most recent position was as a Sales Representative at Insys Therapeutics, Inc., where they brought their sales expertise to promote products. Misty Neilson earned their Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the University of Phoenix between 2006 and 2008. Following this, they pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Multi-/Interdisciplinary Studies, with a focus on Business and Sociology, at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from 2012 to 2014.
