Hesam Farsaie

Hesam Farsaie, Ph.D., is a Senior Data Scientist at Intact since June 2018, with prior experience at Symcor as a Data Scientist and at Zighra in a similar role. Farsaie has a strong background in machine learning, particularly in speech and signal processing, having developed innovative techniques such as feature selection methods and supervised decision trees. Prior positions include a Machine Learning Specialist at MMS Laboratory, where Farsaie designed real-time diagnostics tools and classifiers for infant cry analysis, and an Electrical Engineer specializing in digital signal processing at ERI-SUT. Farsaie holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from École de technologie supérieure and advanced degrees from Sharif University of Technology and Shahid Beheshti University.
