Samuel Tanguay

Samuel Tanguay is a Senior Legal Counsel specializing in Corporate Finance and M&A at Intact since July 2021, where responsibilities include drafting and negotiating transactional and financing agreements, as well as conducting legal due diligence for investments. Prior to this role, Samuel served as Legal Counsel at GIRO from February 2019 to July 2021, negotiating software licensing agreements and supporting RFP processes. Earlier experience includes a position as Legal Counsel at SOPREMA Canada, where responsibilities encompassed leading due diligence for acquisitions, managing IP rights, and negotiating complex arrangements. Samuel holds an MBA from HEC Montréal, an LL.M. from Université Laval, and an LL.B. from Université de Sherbrooke, alongside an International Baccalaureate and College Diploma in Pure Sciences from Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf.
