Brian Bender

Brian Bender has held a variety of roles in the past 13 years. In 2006, they were an Assistant Researcher at Dielectric Devices, LLC. Brian then went on to have two internships at Corning Incorporated, first as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in 2008 and then as a Product and Process Development Engineering Intern in 2009. In 2009, they were also a Materials Engineer at the United States Department of Defense. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Technology Transfer Fellow and then a Technology Transfer Associate at the UCLA Office of Intellectual Property. Brian is currently a Cofounder at Intake Health, a position they have held since 2017.

Brian Bender obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Materials Science and Engineering from North Carolina State University in 2009. Brian then went on to attain their Master of Science (MS) in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2012. In 2015, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioengineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. In addition, Brian Bender has obtained certifications from Precision Nutrition (Pn1) in November 2017, Digital Marketing Fundamentals from LinkedIn in May 2017, Google AdWords from LinkedIn in May 2017, and Inbound | Content Marketing | Email Marketing from HubSpot Academy in May 2017.
