Sophia Sullivan has over 10 years of work experience in data science and related fields. Sophia began their career in 2008 as a Summer Intern at the Internal Revenue Service: Statistics of Income Division. In 2009, they worked as a Tutor for Rose Learning and as a Summer Analyst Intern for Metron Scientific Solutions. In 2011, they were a Summer Associate at the RAND Corporation, a Research Assistant at the SONIC Lab, and a Ph. D Candidate at Northwestern University. In 2013, they were a Data Science Intern at Think Big Analytics. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Data Scientist at Think Big, A Teradata Company. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Senior Data Scientist at Starcom Mediavest Group, where they worked on new product offerings using raw impression data, multi-touch attribution modeling for the CPG industry, and an in-market proof of concept. Sophia also used a graph framework to identify and analyze household-level data, created a custom graph algorithm to automate contribution calculations for multiple models with indirect effects in R, helped to identify and correct data quality issues on a Cloudera data lake, and developed an ETL pipeline in Hadoop for aggregated raw impression data for reporting and analytics. From 2018 to present, they have been the Vice President of Data Science, Senior Director of Data Science, and Director of Data Science at Integra Credit.

Sophia Sullivan has a comprehensive education history. Sophia obtained their Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences from Northwestern University in 2014 and their M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences from Northwestern University in 2011. Sophia obtained their B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2010. Prior to that, they attended the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics from 2004 to 2006. Sophia also holds various certifications, including Certified Fintech Practitioner from The London Institute of Banking & Finance (2021), Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates (2017), Introduction to Marketing (Wharton) from Coursera Course Certificates (2016), Marketing in a Digital World from Coursera Course Certificates (2016), edX Verified Certificate for Scalable Machine Learning from edX (2015), and edX Verified Certificate for Introduction to Big Data with Apache Spark from edX.
