Michael Defusco

Michael DeFusco is an accomplished mechanical design engineer with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Staff Mechanical Design Engineer at Integra LifeSciences since June 2021, Michael also holds the position of Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Codman Specialty Surgical, part of Integra LifeSciences, since October 2017. Previously, Michael contributed to Codman & Shurtleff, a division of Johnson & Johnson, in a similar senior role since June 2005. Michael's entrepreneurial spirit is reflected in the ownership of Mad Music Ltd. from 1996 to 2016, and a consulting role as a Mechanical Design Engineer at The Gillette Company from 1987 to 2003. Michael's academic foundation in Mechanical Engineering Technology was established at the New England Institute of Technology, earning an Associate Degree in Science from 1985.
